Who are we?
Arthritis & Osteoporosis NT (AONT) is a non-government organisation providing information, resources and education for those affected by arthritis and osteoporosis and other musculoskeletal conditions.
We have 5 year recurrent funding from NT Health to:
empower people with arthritis and osteoporosis with information, education and support, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances;
promote healthy lifestyles and self-management to optimise health outcomes and health-related quality to life for individuals with arthritis and osteoporosis.
Our patron is Ms Ruth Jones RN, BANurs, GradCertOrtho, GradDipHealthEd, MOrtho.
Arthritis Australia provides our arthritis resources and we work with them and other state arthritis organisations.
We also have educational resources on osteoporosis from Healthy Bones Australia.
